This week, The Herald unveiled a brand new website for the first time in five years.
While we have greatly enjoyed the stories we’ve shared with you on The Herald’s current site, it was time for something new. On our new site, we worked hard to redesign the layout, putting the most important headlines front and center for readers. To stay fresh in the ever-evolving media landscape, we have created a website more in line with professional outlets to present our in-depth reporting in the clearest way possible. While the new site is refined, we have striven to maintain the charm that makes The Herald’s website special.
But the new website doesn’t just better feature our reporters’ articles — it also highlights the work of our multimedia staff who work hard to bring our readers the most interesting and important podcasts, photos, data projects, games and more.
We’d like to thank our Senior Editor of Technology Hadley Carr ’27 for all the time she put into this project, as well as the team at SNWorks for making our wildest website dreams come true. But it doesn’t stop there. We have new updates rolling out on our app as well. In the next week, The Herald’s app will also be home to our Mini Crossword — previously only published on our website — and a leaderboard to track the fastest puzzle-solvers on campus.
